Astrology symbols have been around for centuries and there is still a strong belief in them today. Astrology signs are a representation for the different signs of the zodiac. There is a specific meaning and pattern to each sign of the zodiac making them distinguishable from one another.

Astrology maps the planetary bodies on a specific date, time and place and we use our zodiac signs to determine how it will affect our daily lives. Believers of astrology think that once the positions of the moon, sun and planets have been calculated the cosmic forces from these allow a horoscope to be drawn and interpreted. We read these horoscopes, also known as start signs and relate them to our own lives and personalities.

The date of when we were born will determine what sign of the zodiac we are. Depending on the country you are from the star signs will differ. Chinese horoscopes will differ from western horoscopes as they rely on a different chart to map their symbols.

Your sign of the zodiac will differ from someone who is born at a later or earlier time of the year. Each star sign is named and has set dates.
